Original oil painting on canvas by listed artist, Nell Walker (Shostrom) Warner (CA, 1891 - 1970), signed lower left. Features a sunset over the ocean and rocky shore. Art measures 16" h x 20" w mounted in a frame measuring 23" x 27".

We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information.

Her work has been exhibited at Laguna Beach Art Association; Pasadena Art Institute; Artists of Southern California, San Diego; Arizona State Fair, Phoenix; Pasadena Society of Artists; Springville Museum of Art, UT; Golden Gate International Exposition; Carmel Art Association; Academy of Western Painters; California Watercolor Society; Gardena High School; Women Painters of the West; Ebell Club; Artists Fiesta; California Art Club; Wilshire Gallery ; Desert Sun Gallery; Golden Gate International Exposition ; Society for Sanity in Art, California Palace of the Legion of Honor; Artists Guild of America. She has been awarded First prize, Artists of the Southwest; Southern California Fair, 1925; Medals, California Eisteddfod, 1925; 3rd prize, California State Fair, 1929; 1st prize, California State Fair, 1931; Santa Cruz Art League, 1930 & her work is in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
