Original oil painting on canvas by listed artist, Henry Dietrich Gremke (CA, 1860 - 1939), signed lower right. Features Lake Tahoe, as noted on the verso & numbered #2193. Art measures 12" h x 16" w mounted in a frame measuring 14" x 18".

We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. After the earthquake in 1906, he did a series of paintings of the destruction. He specialized in watercolors and oils of the Sierra Nevada and highly detailed floral still lifes. He also painted murals for the stations of the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific railroads. His work has been exhibited in the Oakland Industrial Expo, 1896; Mechanics Inst., 1897; Calif.
