Original oil panting on board by listed artist, Hippolyte Camille Delpy (France, 1842 - 1910), signed lower right. Features a lake view landscape at sunset. Art measures 16.5" tall x 27.5" wide mounted in a frame measuring 22.5" x 33.5".
Available payment options
We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive a email with tracking information.
Delpy was a student of Charles François Daubigny & was also influenced by Pisarro and Cezanne. He exhibited at the "Galerie des Artiste Modernes," in Paris & in the "Exposition International" with De Nittis, Whistler, Monet, Sisley, Pissaro, Renoir, and Morisot. To find Delpy in this company clearly shows the esteem in which he was held.
