We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. From May 17, 1986 appraisal: Furniture, English. Anonymous Georgian cabinetmaker. Footstool with cabriole legs, mahogany, off-white figural fabric upholstery. Reign of George III (1760-1811) c. 1760.The upholstered drop-in seat is supported on four cabriole legs with richly carved knees and claw-and-ball feet. A similar pair of Queen Anne carved walnut stools dating from the first quarter of the 18th century was sold by Sotheby's in New York on April 12-14, 1984, for $9,000; the pair is illustrated as No. 5 on page 75 of Sotheby's International Price Guide: 1985-1986 Edition.
