Mad Art Studios is the brainchild of Michael Maddy and Rina Fehrenson. Both native Californians, Michael got his artistic start through studying ceramics at California State University at Humbolt, and later studied glass at Palomar College in San Marcos, California. It is there he met Rina Fehrenson, who has a degree in Visual Arts from the University of California-San Diego. Rina also studied at such well known glass schools as the Pilchuck School in Seattle, the Bildwerk School of Glass in Germany and the Haystack School of Crafts in Maine. Their studio is in San Diego, CA.
