Original oil painting on canvas by listed artist, Robert F. Morgan (MT, 1929-2015), signed lower left. Features a sunny landscape with Native American Tepee Settlement. Art measures 11" h x 14" w mounted in a frame measuring 15.5" x 18.5".
Available payment options
We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information.
In 1952, Morgan was hired to design exhibits at the Montana Historical Society. With nothing more than a high school education and a stint in the Montana National Guard, Bob spent 15 years, off and on, as curator of the Montana Historical Society where he designed exhibits and was in charge of art collections and all matters pertaining to the Society's art functions. In the mid 1970's, Bob left the Historical Society to pursue a career in art. He annually participates in the C.M. Russell Auction.
