Original watercolor landscape by listed Oregon artist, Percy Manser (1886-1973), signed lower right. Features a sunny pastoral landscape with pond in the foreground. Art measures 14" tall and 19" wide mounted in a frame under museum glass measuring 24.5" x 30.5".
Available payment options
We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive a email with tracking information.
Known as the "Grand Old Man of Hood River Painters", Manser was selected to represent Oregon at the American Artists Professional League exhibition at Rockefeller Center in New York, and ended the decade with exhibitions at the Seattle Art Museum and the Portland Art Museum. He won over 100 awards in exhibitions from New York City to Portland and became one of the most respected artists in the Northwest. He also exhibited at the Maryhill Museum of Art, Oregon & was given another solo exhibition "Grandeur and Light" in 2008 at the museum.
