Original graphite on paper by listed artist, Muriel Sibell Wolle (CO, 1898 - 1977), signed lower left. Features a ghost town barn. Art measures 13" h x 10" w mounted in a frame measuring 22.5" x 19".

We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information. 

Wolle's one-person exhibitions included the Denver Art Museum, in 1933 and 1956; Colorado Springs Fine Art Center, 1945; Maryland Art Institute, Baltimore, 1945; and Iowa State University, Ames, 1967. Her many group shows over a fifty-year career include the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, New York; Joslyn Memorial Museum, Omaha, Nebraska; New York Watercolor Society, New York; Cincinnati Museum of Art; American Watercolor Society, New York; and the Springfield Museum of Art, Missouri. Wolle was also one of five artist faculty members at the University of Colorado calling themselves "The Prospectors," who, from 1931 to 1941, exhibited in major art venues in twenty-two states.
