We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information.
Michael Jacques is a master printmaker, painter, and sculptor. His works are in the permanent collections of many major institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston; the United States House of Representatives; the Museum of American Art, Washington, D.C.; the National Collection, Beijing, China; the Rose Art Museum, Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts, and the Smithsonian Institution's National Collection of American Art.
Jacques has won a variety of awards for his art including a prestigious American Book Award Nomination for Book Illustration. He regularly exhibited his paintings at the annual Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts, and for many years has taught at the Laguna College of Art & Design.
