Original soft oil pastel on La Carte paper by artist, Mimi Matsuda, signed lower left, dated 2007 & titled "Mt. Hood Meadows" in Oregon on the verso. Art measures 12" h x 19" w mounted in a frame measuring 21" x 27".
Available payment options
We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information.
Mimi has shown her work in numerous venues across the Western United States and illustrates and paints commissions for groups such as Trout Unlimited, Yellowstone Association, Yellowstone Park Foundation, MontanaPBS, Polar Bears International, Museum of the Rockies and many other environmental non-profit groups.
Her trout art was included in The American Museum of Fly Fishing’s exhibit and book, “A Graceful Rise”, on women’s contributions to the sport. Her work is in many private collections and carried in retail locations across the entire United States.
