Limited edition mezzotint intaglio print on paper by listed artist, Maidy Morhous (CA, NY, 1950-), signed lower right & dated '76, titled "Winter Equinox II", lower left & numbered 3/150. Art measures 15.5" h x 11" w matted & mounted in a frame measuring 29" x 23".

We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. Shipping charges are not included in the winning hammer price. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours away from the auction house. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive an email with tracking information. 

An accomplished printmaker and painter as well as sculptor, Maidy Morhous was born in New York and currently creates out of her studio thirty minutes north of San Diego. Morhous received her Master of Fine Arts degree while studying at Stanley Hayter's Atelier 17 in Paris in the mid-1970s. Before returning to the States, she then traveled to Italy to further her studies in casting techniques at the Fonderia Artistica–Marinelli Foundry in Florence. Maidy Morhous is currently showing internationally in museum exhibitions and galleries; her work can also be found in public and private collections in Japan, England, Europe, Australia and Canada.
