The Kern 8 x 30 military binoculars are designed for use under the worst conceivable climatic conditions. Binoculars are resistant to climatic fluctuations, dust and Splashwater. Even after hard blows, jolts or vibrations, the adjustment of the optical system is preserved within extremely narrow tolerance limits. Soft rubber eye cups effectively protect the oculars against impact and can be folded down for spectacle wearers. This allows the spectacle lens to approach the immediate vicinity of the ocular which results in only a sm,11 loss in the field of view, completely encased in rubber.
