Original watercolor painting on paper by listed New England artist, John Cuthbert Hare (MA, FL, 1908 - 1978), signed lower right. Art features a beachside village path surrounded by white cottages with the sea beyond. Art measures 9.5" h x 11.5" w mounted in a frame measuring 17" x 19".

Hare was known for his nautical scenes, particularly in Cape Cod. His work has been exhibited in Provincetown & Florida and is in the collections of the Lowe Art Museum, the Lightner Museum & the Smith College Museum.
