Original etching by listed artist, George Elbert Burr (CO, AZ, 1859 - 1939), signed lower left & titled "Oaks in Winter" on the verso. Art measures 10" h x 8" w mounted in a frame measuring 19" x 15".
Available payment options
Burr was a noted etcher as well as pastel & watercolor painter of desert and Rocky Mountain scenes. He was commissioned to illustrate a catalog for the Metropolitan Museum of Art of Heber R. Bishop's jade collection, as well as having his work was displayed in galleries & exhibitions along the east coast and as far west as Kansas City, Missouri.
