Takahashi Denson-designed plastic lamp in the form of New York City's  Empire State Building. Manufactured by Midori in Japan in the 1980s, this lamp is a great postmodern/pop art version of the Art Deco architectural masterpiece. The lamp's base has a fluorescent bulb that causes the lamp's building shape, made form a single piece of mold blown plastic, to glow.  This iconic lamp can be seen in several classic 1980s movies including Coming to America and Big. Measures 39” x 11” x 9.”
