Original watercolor painting on paper by listed artist, Bertha Emery (CA, 1873 - 1957), signed lower left. Features a sunny landscape with mountains beyond. Art measures 7" h x 11" w mounted in a frame measuring 10" x 14".

Emery was a student of Grace Hudson and L. P. Latimer & was known for her depiction of the flowering fields & mountains of Mendocino County. Her work has been exhibited at San Francisco Art Association, April 1906; Saturday Afternoon Club (Ukiah), 1930 (solo); CSL, 1936 (solo); GGIE, 1939 (gold medal); Mendocino Co. Historical Society, 1987 (retrospective).
