We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. Mahogany, carved, turned, joined, brass fittings. Reign of George III (1760-1800). Circa 1780-1800. A similar George II mahogany reading stand of about 1750 was sold by Sotheby's in New York on January 21, 1984 for $1760. It is illustrated as No. 4 on page 1934 of Sotheby's International Price Guide: 1985-86 Edition.
