Includes three abstract bronze sculptures by listed Swiss artist, Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) two being musicians, and one being a ballerina. Each sculpture measures between 14" and 15" in height. Unsigned.
Available payment options
We offer in house shipping for the majority of the items that are sold in the auction. The exceptions being furniture, bulk or heavy items like marble statues or extremely fragile items. For these items, we recommend you work with a shipper. If you live over 4 hours from the auction house, we will assume that you would like your items shipped. Please let us know if you do not want them shipped if you are over 4 hours. The card that you registered with will be charged for all shipping charges and you will also receive a email with tracking information.
Giacometti was one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century. After having studied for a short period of time in Geneva and Italy, he eventually moved to Paris to study sculpture under Bourdelle from 1922-1925.His first one-man show took place at the Pierre Matisse Gallery in New York in 1948. The exhibition was a major success and marked his breakthrough.
