Portrait of Beatrice Cenci painting on textured paper after artist Guido Reni (Italy, 1575-1642), Portrait is unsigned. Reni immortalized Cenci by creating this portrait after her death. She was accused of murdering her father, Count Francesco Cenci, who had abused her throughout her life and was ultimately convicted and beheaded for her crime in 1599. Mounted in a frame under glass measuring 35" x 27 1/2"
