To date, all identified works are signed “A.E. Burdin”. He was a very competent artist. In 1906, he left the Alaska gold fields for White Bluffs, Washington, purchasing property along the Columbia River. The Burdin’s left White Bluff so that Edelbert could resume his career as an artist. They moved to Chicago for several years, and in 1923 moved to Rochester, New York where Burdin painted and exhibited.
