Oil painting on board depicts the Monterey Peninsula landscape at sunset. It is signed lower right by listed artist Ferdinand Burgdorff (California, 1881-1975) and dated 1926. Painting measures 69½" x 45½" visible and is mounted in a period frame measuring 75" x 51".
