Antique 19th century photogravure of a painting by American painter Thomas Allen (1849-1924), titled Thoroughbreds. The image depicts a herd of thoroughbred cattle lounging in front of a small grouping of trees. This print was created by the famed French 19th century art dealership and publishing company Goupil & Co. and was distributed by D. Appleton & Co. in New York. Print measures 7" x 12" visible and is professionally matted and mounted under glass in a frame measuring 16" x 20.5".
