Lot 71:
Hilt of sword features gold tone oak leaf and acorn design, eagle and swastika on one langet and the obverse left plain for monograming. There is a crack in the black celluloid covering on the grip but it still retains the twisted brass wire. Included is the black painted scabbard retaining much of the original black paint and leather portepee with silver bullion threaded design and lower ball. Blade measures 30" long and is in nice overall condition with some rough edging and scratches.
