Design by a Maine dentist named Warren R. Evans, this rare repeating rifle bears the serial number 192 indicating it is one of only 500 rifles made between the years of 1873 and 1876. The octagon shaped barrel is marked "Evans Repeating Rifle, Pat. Dec 8, 1868 & Sept. 16, 1871". This rare find is in need of repairs, but a great piece of history.
