Each page features one student or professor and most pages includes signatures from that person. Notable people include Henry Longfellow, Benjamin Pierce, James Russell Lowell, Henry B. Adams, Frederik G. Bromberg, Louis Cabot, Benjamin Crowninshield, Howard F. Damon, Charles Fairchild, William H. Fox, George E. Francis, Simon G. Fuller, Samuel S. Green, amongst many other prominent students and students who then fought in the Civil War.
Severe separation to spine and binding and staining on most pages.
