Original oil painting on canvas by listed Northwest artist, Elizabeth Parrott Pond (OR, WA, 1849 – 1936), signed lower right. Features a forested Pacific Northwest landscape with river in the foreground. Art measures 15.5" h x 11.5" w presented in a frame measuring 22" x 18". 

Artist bio: Elizabeth Parrott Pond was born in 1849 after her father and brother, famous Oregon landscape painter William Samuel Parrott, moved from Missouri to Oregon in 1847. In 1859, her father Lewis moved the family to the Klickitat Valley in SW Washington. She painted in a very similar style to her brother, William, and of similar mountain landscape subject matter.
