Original oil painting on board by listed artist, Fritioff Albin Persson (CA, 1897 – 1957), signed lower left & titled on the verso "Desert Sunset". Art measures 6" h x 7" w presented in a frame measuring 8" x 9".
Artist bio: Persson came to the U.S. after serving in the Canadian Army in WWI. He then studied at the ASL of NYC. About 1930 he began spending long periods in the Mojave and Colorado deserts while living in Los Angeles.
